Amy Butler Fabrics

Thursday, April 19, 2007

I am not a sewer, but I am obssessed with Amy Butler fabrics. I've been eyeing this pattern from her Lotus line called "Tree Poppy" in the "Sand" colorway. I think I am going to use a combination of this and a clear vinyl to recover my bench and table set.

That would be so pretty!
Would you keep the paint white?

Or grey might be nice--Martha uses grey in her pink house in Maine--May issue. Of course I have had a pink house for 5 years (though trim remains dark).

Hi!
I was reading your blog today and saw that you mentioned Amy Butler's fabrics. I love them too and I guess I am pretty lucky because I work for Amy and get to work among them. I just thought I would let you know, in case you didn't, that Amy has a new online webstore at amybutlerdesign.com it's great for the non-sewing set because she is carrying ready-made pillows and handbags as well as other gorgeous goodies. I just thought you might want to check it out.
