Construction Coaches

Saturday, November 29, 2008

My local hardware store had flyers for "construction coaches" at their check out counter. I picked one up out of curiosity. The idea is that you can hire a coach to help you with your renovation/DIY project for a lot less than it would cost you to hire someone to do the work. I was tempted to do this for my renovation project, but my friend T. (who knows a thing or two about renovation) assures me that it would be MUCH better to just pay someone to get it done in a timely manner. While I'm not going to hire a coach, I would be very curious to hear if anyone has any experiences with construction coaches.

Laura, thanks for noticing us :)

I would be very, VERY, surprised if we had seen a comment from a client as our business just got up and running recently and we are still introducing ourselves to the market place...But your description was spot on.

My wife and I started the company after taking on several DIY projects and forever getting jammed-up at various points and not having a reliable source of help and "coaching."

The service isn't for everyone and every project; but if we can help even a few people take on - and get through - a project they might not have tried otherwise, we'd be satisfied!

I think it sounds like a great idea. I'd love to hear more about your business as it grows. And if I ever have a small-scale DIY project, I will know who to call for help!
