Cute Idea: Re:Knit

A few weeks back, I read about Re:Knit on The Haystack Needle and made a note to remember the post. For a re-knitting fee of $30, Re:Knit turns your old sweater into a new knitted item. January's knitted item was a scarf above, and currently the knitted item is a pair of gloves. I love, love, love the new disclaimer that has been added to the site, which reads:

due to the unexpectedly overwhelming response in january, and because i only have one mom, we've decided to limit orders to the first 30.
