Like many people, I fell in love with the simple, classic Timex® Military Watch featured in recent J. Crew catalogs, but $150 seemed like an awful lot for a Timex. So, a little poking around on Timex's own site pulled up a more affordable solution: A Timex 'Men's Dress Casual' watch ($50) plus a plain, slip-through nylon watch band (approx $13). The combo would get you awfully close to the J. Crew version for less than half the price.
